Saint Joseph’s University awards scholarships to undergraduate applicants who have outstanding academic and achievement records. Each year the profile of the scholarship recipients varies based on the applicant pool. Review each scholarship description for the individual eligibility requirements.

Worth of Award

The Saint Joseph’s University scholarships offer the following;

• Saint Joseph’s University provides free room and board for Type 1 AFROTC scholarship recipients and free room for Type II AFROTC scholarship recipients.
• Once contracted, in addition to receiving the scholarship, awardees receive book money and a monthly tax-free stipend.
• A partial-tuition scholarship awarded to a freshman who expresses an interest in majoring in art at Saint Joseph’s.

Eligibility

MERIT-BASED ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS

• Available to: Freshmen, Transfers, International
• Awarded to new students who have outstanding academic and achievement records.
• All students who submit a complete application for admission are reviewed for a merit scholarship, including test-optional applicants.

ACADEMY OF FOOD MARKETING SCHOLARSHIP

• Available to: Freshmen, International
• Awarded to freshmen who declare a food marketing major. Students who are U.S. citizens must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to be considered; international students may be required to submit proof of income.
• The scholarship review considers financial need as well as the applicant’s academic record.

AIR FORCE ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS

• Available to: Freshmen
• Air Force ROTC offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors. These scholarships are competitive and are based on the Jesuit ideal of cura personalis, care for the whole person.

ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS

• Available to: Freshmen, Transfers, International
• Awarded by the Department of Athletics to students in each of our 20 NCAA D-1 intercollegiate athletic programs.

CORPUS CHRISTI SCHOLARSHIP FOR ART MAJORS

• Available to: Freshmen, International
• An application for admission by the early deadline of November 1 is preferred. Financial need is considered so students are required to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

JESUIT PREPARATORY SCHOLARSHIPS

• Available to: Freshmen, International
• Awarded to incoming freshmen who graduate from a Jesuit high school and have achieved a minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA on a 4.00 scale.
