Boise State University in the USA is inviting applications for the Global Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students in the 2020/2021 session.
The Center for Global Education offers the Global Excellence and Global Distinction Scholarships for new incoming undergraduate international students.
Both scholarships are available for first-year and transfer undergraduate applicants. Both scholarships are also renewable for up to four years (eight semesters) of study at Boise State.
The Center for Global Education advances Boise State University’s global recognition as a metropolitan, research university and provides leadership and coordination for campus-wide internationalization efforts and initiatives.
Worth of Award
- The Global Excellence Scholarship is worth up to $16,920 per academic year. The Global Distinction Scholarship is worth up to $8,460 per academic year.
Eligibility
- The Global Excellence Scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale). The Global Distinction Scholarship requires a minimum of a 3.00 GPA (on a 4.00 scale).
- In addition to academic achievement, Global Scholarship recipients typically demonstrate ambitious academic or professional goals, a commitment to positively impacting the Boise State community, and the ability to overcome adversity.
- Students who have been awarded a GEM Scholarship are not eligible to receive a Global Scholarship.
How to Apply
- An additional scholarship application is required
- In order to be considered for the Global Excellence and Global Distinction Scholarships, students must have all admissions application materials and the additional scholarship application submitted by the deadlines
